GuideSafe™ Exposure Notification
Terms of Service

GuideSafe™ Exposure Notification is intended to anonymously notify you of possible previous exposure to someone who later reports a positive COVID-19 test result. This notification will be within 14 days of your exposure to a positive case of COVID-19.

You must be at least 14 years of age to use GuideSafe™.

You must enable notifications to use the main features of the app. GuideSafe™ Exposure Notification will share random codes with other users over Bluetooth technology. Your personal information and location are anonymous.

If you wish to report a positive COVID-19 test, you will be asked to provide a mobile phone number to enable verification. Your phone number will not be shared.

THE APP IS NOT INTENDED TO PROVIDE A MEDICAL SERVICE OR TREATMENT PLAN.

This information is collected in conjunction with the Alabama Department of Public Health (ADPH). GuideSafe™ Exposure Notification is meant to provide valuable possible exposure notification information to limit the spread of COVID-19. Your participation in this app does not imply nor guarantee services by anyone, including ADPH. The information you provide will be stored securely and precautions will be taken to prevent any unauthorized access.
